Information about the Summer School of GreenerEU
​
The GreenerEU Summer School 2026 is our initiative for promoting women leadership, philosophy, culture, sustainability, and inclusion in the backdrop of current challenges that transform our societies like:

Erosion of democracy, trust, and critical thinking,

Meet our lecturers and their courses
The Summer School brings 4 Masterclasses conducted by 4 lecturers with a strong professional and leadership track who will share, within a practical laboratory, their courses, thoughts and advice on human-centred actions, innovation, sustainable futures, and ethical reflection for responding to today’s global challenges.

The GreenerEU Summer School includes 4 courses delivered in the form of Masterclasses, each course lasting up to 2 days, with groups of maximum 8 participants per course.
The overarching objective of the school is to create a space for dialogue, intellectual and cultural enthusiasm, ethical reflection and bridges between ideas and concrete actions. ​​

Profile of the participants

This is a general profile of the participants we’re looking for:

Age: 20-45 years old
-
Academic background: Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree/ PhD (ongoing or completed) within the field of the chosen course or complementary fields
-
Minimum B2 level of English command
-
Provides examples of leadership/ initiatives/ proposals/ commitments
-
Passionated and motivated to join to Summer School in Venice
-
Intellectual curious
-
Having gained a minimum of international experience (whether online or onsite).

The applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria: academic background; motivation to participate at the chosen course; leadership/ initiatives/ proposals/ commitments examples; proposed contribution to promoting philosophy, sustainability, thought leadership, and inclusion in the future.

Participation fee
2500 Euro for onsite participants and includes:

Accommodation and meals at local units in Venice for 7 days

500 Euro for online participants and includes:
-
Attendance in the live courses
-
Certificate of participation.
Accommodation and meals
​
Accommodation and 3 meals are provided to selected participants each day at local units in Venice thanks to each participation fee.
Participants will be accommodated at specific units in Venice.
Specific details on the available rooms will be shared in due time.
The selected participants will be asked to provide information about their food preferences, diets, and other health situations.

Transportation
Transportation to and from Venice, Italy, is the sole responsibility of the selected participants.
All of the onsite participants are required to arrive at least one day earlier than 3rd of August in order to be in time for the formal opening conference of the Summer School.

Before purchasing the tickets, participants must send their itinerary to the organising team for approval.
