The 5 Terre are a group of 5 small towns near the sea in Liguria. The places are unique in their style and beauty and hold a long history of cultural heritage, transition and local culture.

Mobility & Transport

To travel around the 5 Terre there is a regional train which works very well avoiding traffic jams & costly private parking costs.

The ticket is 10 € or a free pass for 45€ as an all day pass. This acts as a sort of mobility tax. Usually, regional train tickets allow you a tolleranza of 2 hours so can hop off, discover a new small town and hop on the next train again. However, now the train company has decided to create a single day pass which costs around 40€ to linger between the towns.

The demand is high and trains almost always fully booked out. However, the merchants in the cities complain lower tourism flows and a fall in demand.
